Ex-Sinn Fein councillor Jonathan Dowdall, who took to the stand for eight days as State's evidence in the trial of Gerry 'The Monk' Hutch, has had his appeal against his jail term for facilitating the murder of Kinahan Cartel member David Byrne put back until after judgement in Mr Hutch's trial.

Regency Hotel murder accused Gerry Hutch and his two alleged accomplices will have verdicts in their cases handed down in April, the Special Criminal Court has said.
Gerard Hutch, 59, is accused of murdering David Byrne at a boxing weigh-in in 2016.
The judge said the court would notify parties if the judgment for the three accused is available before 17 April.
