Lawyers representing the two now-adult victims say they want to hold to account those who allowed Rose stay on the job and rise to become president of the Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association, all while continuing to abuse victims and other children.
The victims say more should have been done to protect them.
Two victims of child rapist Patrick Rose Sr. have filed suit against him, the City of Boston, the police union, the state Department of Children and Families and more than two dozen other named and unnamed individuals they say allowed the abuse to happen.
