WASHINGTON, February 20, 2024--The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) will foster the continued growth of the bioplastics industry at its upcoming trade show, NPE: The Plastics Show. With more than 45 bioplastics related exhibitors on the show floor, NPE2024 is expected to be the largest gathering of bioplastics companies in the Americas. NPE2024 will take place from May 6-10, 2024, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

The Plastics Industry Association (Plastics) announced Husky Husky, as the winner of Plastics’ 2023 Innovation in Bioplastics Award. The announcement came as part of Plastics’ eighth annual, online #BioPlasticsWeek event.
Husky won the award for their hot runner system, UltraMelt, which was engineered for the efficient and sustainable injection molding of bioresins.
