M ST. JOHN A.M.E. CHURCH, at the corner of Pullen and Cherry streets, will have Vacation Bible School, June 21-23 from 5:30-8 p.m. Registration is open on the St. John AME Church Face Book page for those who want to attend. The theme is "Hero Hotline, Called Together to Serve God." VBS will include classes for all ages, music, art, and snacks. There is no registration fee. The Rev. Chestine Sims Jr., is pastor. Sheryl Wynn and Charneise Turner are VBS directors.

ST. ANDREW MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 5810 W. Malcomb St., will celebrate the 18th anniversary honoring the pastor and wife, the Rev. Richard and Dot Hart, at 11 a.m. Sunday. The associate pastor, A. Dale Watkins Sr., will bring the message. The community is invited to attend.

HOUSE OF BREAD DELIVERANCE CHURCH, 1501 W. Second Ave., at Pine Bluff, will present a Licensing to the Ministry Service for James Hill Jr. at 3 p.m. Sunday. The senior pastor/apostle of House of Bread church is Saint Mary Harris.

CORINTH MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH at Sherrill will present its Men's and Women's Day service at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Glenn Barnes, pastor of Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church at Pine Bluff. Pine Hill choir will sing. The theme is "He Has Risen."

NEW COMMUNITY CHURCH, 321 N. Birch St., will present its annual Raising the Standard Conference at 7 p.m. on these dates with the following speakers: April 3 -- Gary Sprewell of Gary Sprewell Global Ministries at Los Angeles, Calif.; April 4 -- Kourtney Smith of Destiny Worship Center; and April 5 -- Ramone Woodall of New Nation Church International at Little Rock.
