Fairfield Memorial Hospital recently received a $100 grant from Hershey’s Heartwarming Project after a submission by six-year-old Fairfield resident Perry Kimberlin, who submitted the application to help fund new equipment for the FMH expansion. Fairfield Memorial Hospital says, per current CDC guidelines, COVID vaccinations could be offered to the public by mid-February, though that is contingent upon a number of variables. The hospital also said, as of yesterday, less than five percent of patients who presented with COVID-related illnesses had to be transferred to other facilities for care.
