Dig World, a construction-themed amusement park, is underway in Houston and is set to open sometime in the coming months according to Click 2 Houston. Once open, the 3.5-acre park will offer attendees the opportunity to operate various machines including excavators and skid steers. “We want to create memorable experiences for families that last a lifetime as well as educate the next generation about construction and all the possibilities that surround that industry,” said Jacob Robinson, one of the park's founders, in a statement.

The 3.5 acre park will allow both kids and adults to safely operate real, heavy construction equipment year round and also boasts a playground, a gem-mining station, a turf field with yard games, and various other attractions.
