Patty Courtright appeared before the Mount Carmel City Council on Monday in regards to a zoning issue regarding a trailer on East 5th Street. Courtright bought a trailer at the location that was previously owned by Bill Dardeen and wants to move it to a new location, but a city ordinance prevents her moving the trailer as it is older than the city code allows. Courtright pleaded to the board to allow for an exception to the rule as the reason for the purchase was to help better care for a family member who is dealing with health issues.
