According to Deadline, Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding has signed on to star opposite Dakota Johnson in Netflix’s upcoming reimagining of Jane Austen’s classic novel Persuasion. He is set to portray the role of Mr. Elliot, who is being described as the callous and classic Austen foil. The Malaysian-British actor will next be seen leading Paramount Pictures’ upcoming G.I.
