A Dalton pub owner has criticised the Government’s decision to ban takeaway alcohol. A Barrow councillor has commended a Dalton pub landlord for his impressive charity work. Dalton South councillor, Steve Nott, praised Paul Kell, landlord at the Newton Arms, after donating £700 to Furness Homeless Support Group. Mr Kell had raised the money by holding a birthday fundraiser and has revealed he is delighted with the amount of donations.
