台中市集合住宅、商業大樓林立，電梯的保養就顯得重要，市議員林祈烽表示，接獲多件社區大樓反映，電梯故障找來簽約的保養廠商維修，結果廠商敷衍了事，竟有廠商說缺零件要等一個月以上的時間，讓高樓住戶幾乎寸步難行，林祈烽質疑，市府根本沒有善盡把關責任。都發局表示，除持續委託專業機構辦理升降設備抽驗作業外，並將抽驗比率由法規規定5~10%提高到7~12%，以維護市民生命財產安全；另將持續追蹤各昇降設備辦理安全檢查、申領使用許可證情形，針對昇降設備「未領得使用許可證」、「使用許可證逾期」、「經抽驗不合格，逾期未改善者」者，為避免民眾誤搭應停止使用的昇降設備，已製作便於民眾識別的「勒令停止使用」標示，對不合格的昇降設備至現場張貼標示。 ....
