Bokaro: The Bokaro sadar hospital with the help of a private gynaecologist saved the life of a 30-year-old Covid-19 pregnant lady by performing a crucial operation on Saturday night. The patient was brought to the sadar hospital here after she failed to get admission in private hospitals. According to the doctors, the baby had pooped in the mother’s womb leading to complications. But when the woman was wheeled into the hospital in immense pain, no gynaecologist at the centre was available. The hospital management then contacted a private gynaecologist, Dr Nirupama, who attended the patient. Notably, Nirupama herself was infected with Covid-19 and had turned negative on Saturday itself. ....
