Vijay Shekhar Sharma said, “Commerce is a natural extension for us. We are committing to sign up at least 10 million merchants on ONDC before 2025 ends.”
The development comes almost two months after Paytm E-commerce Private Limited rebranded itself as Pai Platforms and took over Bitsila, which is a Bangalore-based seller-side platform on ONDC.
It has acquired Bitsila, a seller platform on ONDC that supports marquee brands like McDonald’s and BigBasket on ONDC platform.
According to sources aware of the development, the company had applied for a name change around three months ago and got the approval from the Registrar of Companies on February 8.
