The coast as we speak in the outer bands. still a hurricane through really tomorrow afternoon. so through this afternoon through tomorrow afternoon, it is a day of these hurricane force winds battering the coastline and the storm surge and the rain. all of those impacts are independent of the category. i ve seen low categories produce a top of storm surge. so it is about the size. it is about the speed. those are the characteristics that go into these hurricanes that cause those giant impacts. what does that mean? there will be at least two high tide cycles because this storm will linger for so long. does that mean people will be getting this storm surge twice? if you are lingering like that, you will watch the peak water at the high tide. so the rain fall will continue. but eventually there is so much water that you are kind of compensating for that high tide. at the same time, yeah, you can see several rises and some ....

Top of charleston at about 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. here is the live tracking radar and as far as the distance goes right now from the storm, this is the center of the storm. these bands out here are the ones that are giving us the tropical storm force winds as we go up the coastline, there is palm coast, it is good to know, to zoom in to show what towns and little cities are getting the worst damage and so this is the flagler beach area, now with some of the worst highest winds. storm surge is along the palm coast area and all of the locations as we go throughout the next two to four hours will be seeing the peak water. saint augustine, 15 miles from the eyewall and right now, we re nine miles from the eyewall in palm coast. thankfully for the florida coastline, you can see how it bends a little bit towards the northwest. if the storm is continuing to more north ward motion. the eyewall should be going further away from saint augustine up towards jacksonville. we re staring at the ....
