Steve Purcell, the ensemble is constantly adapting to its musical environment – from intimate trio settings, to big band RnB, and even a full swing orchestra. Back in 2007 The Pearly Shells came to PBS and squeezed themselves into Studio 5 for a killer set of blues, roots and swing.
