FAIRMONT — Students from Fairmont Senior High spent the school year fostering community by helping special needs students through a peer tutoring initiative.
Yale College recognized 10 students who made important contributions through their work in laboratories, offices, dining halls, and other on-campus jobs.
The awards were presented to senior, female student-athletes who display excellence in athletics and academics.
Six junior class women in the top half of their class have been selected to attend Hoosier Girls State by the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 42, Floyds Knobs.
