I'm sure you feel the same passion our panel felt. citigroup has agreed to pay $7 billion. the justice department says they admitted to the misdeeds which shattered lives in, quote, great detail. citi is not the first bank to pay fines like these. the biggest banks paid $113 billion to settle various lawsuits. the money from citi will be divvied up, the bulk going towards penalties. $2.5 billion to help homeowners. paul leonard tells us there still isn't enough transparency with where the money is going to go and attorney general eric holder called the penalty appropriate. here's what he sai...
