Good Boy continues to be nothing but "great" as he added another victory to his card by wiring the field in Buffalo Raceway's $17,500 Open Trot on Saturday night (March 4), the opening card of the 2023 season. He held off Captain Krupnik by a head while Malibu Kid took third in the featured event that went in 2:01.3 over the "good" track.
An extra card has been added to the February racing schedule at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono. The trotters and pacers will be racing over the five-eighths mile oval on Monday, Feb. 22, with first post time 12:30 p.m. (EST). This card will be drawn on Wednesday (Feb. 17) with the box closing at the usual 9 a.m. (EST). A condition sheet for this day’s races will be available shortly. Pocono will open its 2021 season this weekend, with a Saturday card at 12:30 p.m. (EST) and a Sunday program starting at 5 p.m. (EST).
