PFI ban: It further said some of the PFI s founding members are the leaders of the Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) and PFI has linkages with Jamat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), both of which are proscribed organisations.
Popular Front of India (PFI) was established in the year 2006 in Kerala after merging National Development Front (NDF) from Kerala, Forum for Dignity from Karnataka and MNP from Tamil Nadu.
