Greene History Notes: The Greenville Barber Shop
The Greenville Barber Shop In reviewing the history of the Greenville Barber Shop, we first need to recognize and acknowledge a forerunner and facilitator of that town business, William Neidlinger. I do not know of an exact business name. He was just referred to as âBill the Barberâ and was the town barber in the 1920s, â30s and â40s, located on the eastern end of Main Street (I was told he had his shop in the building that now is the site of John Kosichâs Law Office). He was the mentor and teacher of my Dad, Joseph Flach, of the barbering trade.
