Chatham resident Shane Rule threw contraband into Rochester Prison

A dad-of-three caught red-handed throwing mobile phones, cigarettes and booze into a prison, has been given a six-month sentence.
Shane Rule was spotted by guards at HMP Rochester hurling two packages over the wall.

Maidstone Crown Court heard the 36 year old was caught on CCTV.
Inside the packages were eight mobile phones and charging cables, 10 SIM cards, 27 packets of tobacco, 16 packets of Rizla papers, a bottle of vodka, 44 tablets of pregabalin and a packet of diazepam.
