The National Investigation Agency conducted raids at 25 locations in Karnataka, Kerala and Bihar in connection with the Phulwari Sharif case, which is linked to the Popular Front of India.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday arrested one more accused in Bihar's Phulwari Sharif case in connection with the unlawful and anti-national activities of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI).
During searches conducted at the premises of the accused and suspects, the NIA said, incriminating materials, including digital devices and documents, have been seized.
The terrorist suspect is a 22-year-old engineering student at a private college in Tamil Nadu. The suspect was conspiring to kill an important personality in Tamil Nadu to instil fear among the non-Muslim communities in the state, IANS reported quoting sources in the state police.
The first FIR filed in the Phulwari Sharif terrorism case mentions 26 names on the NIA suspected list, ANI reported. The details of the suspects were not immediately available.
