ANKARA: Almost three weeks on from the catastrophic earthquakes that struck southeast Turkiye on Feb. 6, public anger continues to simmer over allegations of poorly enforced building codes in a country whose economy has long relied on the construction industry. As of Monday, the death toll stood at more than 44,000, making it the worst disaster in modern Turkish history. But
