The Pine Bluff fire department reminds residents to check the batteries in their alarms when they change their clocks to Daylight Saving Time.

The 2022 Leadership Pine Bluff Class had 100% attendance for the February session, which focused on law enforcement and safety, according to the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce.

For people using portable space heaters, Lt. Larry Murray, assistant fire marshal at the Pine Bluff Fire and Emergency Services Department, issued a safety reminder from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
