The LGBTQ community is being targeted across the state and country by violent, radical groups, politicians, and traditional and social media.

This week we talk about the NHCS finalized budget for the upcoming school year and how it affects TAs, Pride Boys at Pine Valley Library, and we meet someone new from Columbus County.

On Tuesday evening, the Pride event for young kids at the Pine Valley Library was interrupted by protestors, including members of the local Proud Boys group. Officials say there was no disturbance and participants were never in danger — but advocates for the queer community describe the event differently.
