Jayanth, had gone to the Kings Court Dhaba on 80 Feet Road in
Hosakerehalli, for drinks and dinner. When the bill arrives, Pradeep tried to pay it using his digital wallet but failed due to server issues.
Pradeep requested the waiter to bring a card swiping machine, to which he replied that they don’t have any Point-Of-Sale (POS) machines at the dhaba. The bearer asked him to make the payment in cash and directed him to an ATM. The staff also asked him to leave his phone, for security reasons. Seeing no other way, Pradeep asked his friend to withdraw the money while he waited. ....
