SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - A brand new home in Meyers exploded on Thursday afternoon, sending flames and smoke into the sky. There were multiple 911 calls to emergency dispatch as neighbors saw the fire and heard the explosion. Lake Valley Fire Protection District (LVFPD) responded to the home on Piute Street, finding it fully engulfed.
