The person shot and killed early Saturday morning at a Little Rock bar was a well-liked doorman who employees and regulars said was a pillar of the community.

Police are investigating the death of a person on Markham Street in Little Rock as a homicide, authorities said Saturday.

Arkansauce, along with opening act Charlie Mellinger, performs at 8:30 p.m. Friday ($10 advance; $15 day of show); Paul Thorn performs at 8:30 p.m. Saturday ($25) and "The Wiz" will be performed at 8 pm.
