The iconic throwback diner on the Rock Block has been a staple for downtown workers, college students, and concertgoers for years. In 2019 it was bought by new owners with a plan to restore it, but then COVID hit and changed those plans. After closing it s original location permanently, the new owners moved the restaurant next door and just re-opened TODAY with shiny new digs!! Same amazing food and vibe.even better location. The owners installed a shiny new (old) Wurlitzer jukebox, swanky new chrome fixtures, and celebrity signatures. But the menu is still the same - good ol southern cooking, ice cream sundaes, pies by the slice, flavored sodas, and even boozy milkshakes.
