FORT COLLINS — Voters in Fort Collins have overwhelmingly directed the city to try and buy the land that once held Hughes Stadium from the Colorado State University System and turn it into public land. According to preliminary vote tallies from the Fort Collins Clerk’s Office early Wednesday morning, 68.61% voted in favor of the citizen-led initiative.
