Congress targets plastics fenceline emissions, boosts reusables
New legislation by congressional Democrats calls for much tougher emissions standards for plastics plants, as well as boosting reusable and cutting single-use packaging. Industry groups said it would cripple U.S. jobs and urged other measures to deal with waste.
