Local arts venues get Iowa Cultural Affairs grants The Hawk Eye Players Workshop and Mount Pleasant's Midwest Old Threshers are among local arts and entertainment venues, organizations and individuals getting grants to help them recover from months of lost revenue due to COVID-19. The Iowa Arts & Cultural Recovery Program, administered through the Iowa Arts Council and the State Historical Society of Iowa, is an extension of the Iowa Arts & Culture Emergency Relief Fund.
