Yesterday, america got a good but not great sign the economy is picking up momentum. gdp grew 2.3% in the second quarter. wall street was expecting a bit higher but it was a huge improvement from the growth at the beginning of the year. oil prices are falling this morning. down more than 1% right now. prices were relatively steady for a few months but then in july oil prices have tanked 20%. energy companies are once again slashing jobs. shell plans to cut 6,500 jobs. chevron, 1,500 jobs. google to start measuring pollution data. sensors will measure humidity and temperature and emissions....
