It was a strong first three games but the New Orleans Privateers lost the series finale 7-0 to the Southeastern Lions on Sunday afternoon at Maestri Field. The Privateers still earned the Pontchartrain Bowl and are tied for first in the Southland standings after the weekend. HOW IT HAPPENED Austin Acree got the start and held the Lions quiet early. However, Southeastern got their first run in the third inning on a Nick Ray sac fly. In the fourth, Southeastern added another run when he singled back up the middle.
