24-year-old suspect charged in connection with weekend murder in Pontotoc

PONTOTOC, Miss. (WTVA) - A Pontotoc man is accused of murdering another man during the weekend.
According to the Pontotoc Police Department, police officers responded at approximately 1 a.m. Sunday to a report of a shooting on McGar Loop.

Officers found a shooting victim, identified as 35-year-old Antonio Dewayne Robinson of Pontotoc.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
