Staff Report EAST LIVERPOOL City school district officials will extend virtual learning one more week, according to an all-call to district families Thursday. District Superintendent Jonathan Ludwig said in a letter uploaded to the East Liverpool City School District website that this was decided after learning that the East Liverpool ZIP code (43920) has the highest number of cases in Columbiana County, even though cases involving the district’s students and staff significantly dropped over the past two weeks. The plan is for in-person instruction to return Monday, January 25, 2021. “This decision was made with careful consideration given to the safe operation of East Liverpool City Schools,” he explained before adding that the district’s Potter Brunch service will operate next Wednesday as explained on the district’s website and urging families to contact the child’s school for any questions. ....
