April 27, 2021 The Land Transport Department (JPD) at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC) has announced a change in the application procedures for converting foreign driving licences, which will come into effect on May 1. Under the new procedures, all foreigners who are within or residing in the country for more than 12 months, due to work or on any other business, are required to undergo the Highway Code Test and the Practical Driving on the Road Test.
