Olanzapine effective for chemotherapy-related anorexia among patients with certain cancers
Low-dose olanzapine significantly improved appetite and weight gain among patients with newly diagnosed cancer undergoing chemotherapy, according to study results published in Journal of Clinical Oncology.The antipsychotic agent also appeared well-tolerated and inexpensive, researchers noted.
