Kite flyers from 8 nations, including Thailand, Ukraine, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Estonia, Greece, and Sweden, along with over 22 Indian kite flyers, will participate in the ONGC-MRPL International Kite Festival-2024 in Mangaluru. The festival, organized by Team Mangalore in association with the district administration and support from ONGC-MRPL, provides a platform for stage shows and photography opportunities, showcasing creative talents rooted in cultural tradition. The event will be held at Tannirbhavi Beach on Feb 10 and 11, featuring night flying of kites on Saturday.
