  Human rights and pro-democracy group, the Take-It-Back Movement (TIB) has insisted that the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu-led Lagos State government must pay for damages done and lives lost as a result of their collective inhuman actions unjustly lunched on the people of Oworonshoki communities through the Ministry of Environment and Lagos State Taskforce. TIB Movement unequivocally condemned the alignment of the members of the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee set up to oversee matters surrounding the illegal demolition in Oworonshoki communities.

The Oworo Youth Forum has appealed to international cooperation agencies to halt all ongoing climate action initiatives conducted in collaboration with the Lagos State government and particularly with the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources. SaharaReporters earlier reported that residents of Oworonshoki in the Kosofe local government area on Saturday held a protest to register their grievances and plight over Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's continued demolition of their houses, without providing them with alternative shelters.

The Oworo Youths Forum (OYF) has asked the Lagos State Government to stop the ongoing demolition of houses in Mosafejo, Oke-Eri, Odunifa and other communities in the state.  This is contained in a press statement issued by the group and signed by its President, Aderibigbe Yemi and Public Relations Officer, Towolawi Jamiu, lamenting that the Lagos Task Force, in accordance with the state Ministry of Environment's directives, has been demolishing houses in some communities in the state without allowing people to take their belongings before demolition.
