EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office (EDSO) responded to two bomb threats made at schools on Friday. At 7:56 a.m., EDSO received reports of a bomb threat to Providence Christian School located in Shingle Springs. The school received the bomb threat via email.
“It will affect athletics. I can tell you that right now,” said one former high school football coach.
Life Preparatory Academy said in a statement that 19-year-old Carol Chakra was a 2021 graduate, and The Sunflower, WSU's student-run news source, confirmed Chakra was a junior at the school.
Hope Williams was one of 150 students that were chosen from around the world to participate.
