Montreal moves to update its social housing bylaw to encourage construction of new units
The city of Montreal is proposing modifications to a housing bylaw in hopes of speeding up construction of social housing units. Valérie Plante's administration says the bylaw did not work as intended, while some say it hasn't worked at all.
