Highbridge’s King Alfred School Academy has announced that is getting a new Acting Principal. With Principal Nathan Jenkins becoming Head of School Improvement at The Priory Learning Trust, Vice Principal Dan Milford will take on the role of Acting Principal until January 2022 when a permanent Principal will be appointed. Three students from The King Alfred School Academy have received firm offers to study at Cambridge and Oxford universities next year, with other students receiving offers from Cardiff, St Andrews, Queen’s in Belfast, King's College in London, Durham, and Sheffield.

“This past year has been very disruptive to children’s learning, but our schools' staff have worked incredibly hard to keep things going as best as possible remotely while also supporting vulnerable and key worker children.
