Heartbreak at sudden passing of Mark (26)
Tributes have been paid to Private Mark Mahon, who was laid to rest in Rathvilly on Monday after his sudden death last week at the age of 26. A serving member of the Irish Defence Forces, Pte Mahon was working at Stephens Barracks in Kilkenny on Thursday (11th) when he became unwell. A doctor and nurse were called to perform CPR and Mark was transferred to St Luke's Hospital where he passed away a short time later.
