First. there's a reason we tell our children that when they come home from a sporting event to not complain, to not whine, to not blame somebody else. i always told my kids when they complained about losing a game because of a ref or a decision from a ref or an umpire, i always said listen, if it's so close that one call could make a difference, then obviously you have to work harder so the next time one call can't make the difference. stop blaming other people and look at yourself. that's what we teach our children. that's what character is built on. looking inward when there are failures and...
