Heard about what happened and quickly turned around to be here. and obviously it's an extremely anxious time for the constituents that live here, for the families that have been impacted. but i want to praise and give thanks to the first responders, not only the fdny, the nypd and all agencies that have responded. the level of pro officialism, clearly not to be questioned. and it's been an incredibly quick response. we have made our district office a command post for the first responders. we are interacting with some of the impacted families, trying to ensure they get the proper support possib...
