Months after Midwestern Pet Foods Inc. recalled dozens of products potentially linked to the deaths of more than 70 dogs, the company is voluntarily recalling select dog and cat food that may be contaminated with salmonella. Dog Death Toll Climb Connected To Recalled Pet Food Made In Oklahoma Dozens of dogs have now died after eating a brand of pet food that was made at an Oklahoma plant. The FDA said more than 110 dogs have already died and more than 210 are reported as sick after eating the food, but the FDA said those numbers likely do not reflect the true impact.
