The Pakistan federal government on Saturday filed a plea in the Supreme Court to form a full court bench to hear the petitions challenging the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Bill 2023 that aims to curb the powers of the chief justice of Pakistan's (CJP), Dawn reported.
The government has moved Supreme Court (SC) for the formation of a full court bench to hear case related to bill curtailing CJP's powers.
Argues the issue must be resolved by a full court because it concerns all of the Supreme Court judges and even the people of the country.
