Ganderbal: Secretary National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH), Manoj Pant, today visited district Ganderbal, where he chaired a meeting to review the status of cases of financial assistance to eligible militancy affected families assisted by NFCH for their studies under Project Assist Financial Scheme (PAFS).
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal, District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO), students and their parents availing financial assistance under the scheme.
At the onset of the meeting, the DSWO informed the meeting that presently 118 students of district Ganderbal are connected with the NFCH, out of whom 85 students have completed their studies and 33 students are getting financial assistance on a monthly basis. ....
