The recipients registered for Project Care Pack in the February and March newsletters. The care packs, with helpful consumer items, humorous notes and inspirational thoughts, are intended for seniors who have been cut off from family and otherwise isolated during the pandemic year especially this past winter. After handing out packs Wednesday, distribution will continue Thursday at the monthly Grab and Go events at the Whipple Senior Center between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Karen Johnston, director of Weymouth Elder Services, described the completion of another feel good senior project, one in a series she has been running this past year. She thanked Mayor Bob Hedlund for his consistent support and encouragement. ....
