A Mysuru hotel, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi stayed during his visit to the city in April last year, has threatened legal action as bills amounting to over Rs 80 lakh have yet to be cleared by the State Forest Department. According to a report by The Hindu, PM Modi stayed at the Radisson Blu Plaza hotel during his visit to Mysuru in April 2023.

Hotel Radisson Blu Plaza has charged Rs 80.6 lakhs as unsettling dues and will take legal action by June 1 against Karnataka Forest dept.

Karnataka Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre announced efforts to amicably settle the Rs 80 lakh hospitality bill for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mysuru visit in April last year. The visit marked 50 years of Project Tiger and incurred a total event cost of Rs 6.33 crore, with NTCA responsible for the costs.
